The snow and cold may have delayed the festivities for a day, but there was no stopping us from celebrating our 21 Raiders who signed their letters of intent to play at the collegiate level on the National Letter of Intent Signing Day on Thursday, February 3. Best wishes to these student-athletes as they take their game to the next level! To see where they are headed, view the event slideshow or watch the recording of the signing ceremony. Along with our students who signed back in November, we currently count 32 members of the Class of 2022 who have signed to compete in college. Way to go, Raiders!

Congratulations to Dallas Macias '22 who was selected as a finalist along with five other top Colorado athletes for the 2021 Denver Post Gold Helmet Award. This honor is presented annually to the state’s top football player, scholar-athlete and citizen who embodies excellence both on and off the field. Macias led the Raiders in tackles for the 2021-22 season and was a strong presence on the field playing for the Raider defense, offense and special teams. His strong work ethic in the classroom and his demonstrated compassion and care toward his community through his time volunteering have earned him this great distinction. We are proud of you, Dallas!

After a hard-fought game versus the Bruins in the Class 5A State Quarterfinal Playoffs on Friday, November 19, the No. 7 Raiders fell to No. 2 Cherry Creek 28-7, ending their run for the State Championship. Varsity Football ended their season with an 8-4 overall record. Congrats to the Bruins on a well-played game and thanks for a great season, Raiders!

Though Bronco fans would have liked a different outcome to the game against the Philadelphia Eagles on November 14, it was good to see Great Raider Jack Stoll '16, Eagles' tight end, getting lots of play time in his hometown debut. We know that he will continue to impress on and off the field.

The Varsity Football Team got one step closer in its bid to win its first-ever State Championship. In an exciting comeback win over No. 10 Pomona, who led the game at the half with a two-touchdown advantage, the No. 7 Raiders rallied in the second half for a 28-21 victory. The team continued to battle on the field and with two second-half scores by brothers Zavier '22 and Exander '23 Carroll, secured the win. They now advance to the quarterfinals where they will take on the Cherry Creek Bruins. Way to go, Raiders!

The Varsity Football Team heads into the 2021-22 Class 5A State playoffs as the No. 7 seed. The Raiders have a bye in the first round and will host the winner of the Pomona/Castle View Game in the second-round game taking place in Lou Kellogg Stadium on Friday, November 12 at 6:00 pm. Tickets will go on sale online in the Athletic box office once the winner of the first round is determined. A reminder that all attendees, including students and season pass holders, will need to purchase a ticket for admission to the game since this is a playoff game.

Coming off a hard-fought 24-14 win against the Pine Creek Eagles on Friday, October 22, the Varsity Football Team looks ahead to their final league game of the season this Thursday, October 28 against Douglas County High School. The Raiders used their speed and physicality to pull out the big win, and as a result, they upped their rank in the standings by one. Way to go, Raiders!

Great Raider Jack Stoll '16 defied the odds and made the Philadelphia Eagle's 53-man roster as a tight end. One of only nine rookie players to make this year's roster, he was the only undrafted rookie player to make the team.

Kicking off the 2021 season at their August 27 home opener, the Regis Jesuit Football program showed the community what it means to be with and for Others by joining forces with rival Valor Christian for “More Than a Game,” holding a combined food drive in support of Metro Caring.
