RJ SUPPORTS THE MAKE-A-WISH FOUNDATION IN FOURTH ANNUAL WISH WEEK

In early April, the RJ Student Leadership Class organized the school's fourth annual Wish Week to support Henry, a six-year-old suffering from a rare genetic disease. Sponsored through the Make-A-Wish Foundation, Henry’s wish, shared with twin sister Olivia, is to visit Walt Disney World in Orlando, FL. RJ hosted daily themed spirit days throughout the week and an all-school Pep Rally on Friday, April 5 in the Guy Gibbs '47 Gym where students donned their class colors and participated in a Mario Kart relay race, a fun game of sharks and minnows and a fast and furious Venmo Challenge, all to raise money to help fulfill Henry's wish.

The week's high point was hosting Henry and his family on campus and seeing the huge smiles on their faces upon receiving the outpouring of love and support from the entire RJ community. Funds raised from this, and our three prior Wish Weeks, have made it possible for Make-A-Wish to fulfill the wishes of many kids battling life-threatening illnesses.

Thanks to the members of the Servant Leadership Class for their work in making this a memorable week for Henry and his family and an impactful experience for the entire RJ community. We continue to pray for Henry and his family as they continue to support him.

Way to go, Raider community!
