TRACK & FIELD ATHLETES SET NEW SCHOOL RECORDS

Congratulations to the Boys and Girls Track & Field Team members who set new school records for RJ Track & Field, many during the 49th Annual Don Osse Invite held on Thursday, April 11 at Jeffco Stadium.
Abigail Frei '25 soared to new heights as she broke the school record in the women's pole vault with an impressive 10-foot vault. This vault beat the prior record of 9' 9" set by Reilly Mohr '23 at last year's Don Osse Invite.

David Flaig '24 won the 1600-meter run with a top time of 4.21.71, adding to his 800-meter State Champion finish in the same stadium in 2023. Flaig, who set the school record of 4:16.12 in the 1600-meter run in 2023, was also acknowledged this year during the team's record-breaking ceremony.

In addition, the 4x100 Meter Relay Team of Zander Sayatovic '25, Lawson Douglas '24, Jaden Thermidor '24 and Michael Gambrill '26 blazed the track with a fast 42.14 finish earning a meet win, besting the school record by two hundredths of a second.

These record-breaking performances qualified each athlete to compete at this year's Colorado State Track & Field Championships in May. Excellent performance, Raiders!
