We are a Catholic, Jesuit, college preparatory high school serving more than 1700 young men and women in grades 9-12 in becoming Men and Women with and for Others.
With nearly 150 years of history behind us, we are a Roman Catholic educational community rooted firmly in the nearly 500-year-old model of Jesuit education, leading the way in preparing students for the 21st century.
Our unique educational model combines the advantages of single-sex instruction with opportunities for young men and women to collaborate, serve, pray and socialize together to form the whole person—mind, body and spirit.
The strength of Regis Jesuit is found in the depth and diversity of its broad community of students, parents and alumni who strengthen and share their gifts through a lifelong Raider experience.
The transformational student experience has been developed thanks to a long tradition of generous philanthropic support of our enduring educational mission.
EMBARKING ON A JOURNEY OF CONNECTION, LANGUAGE, CULTURE AND LEARNING
Ms. Cardenas Cano.
As we prepare to set out on this life-changing experience, we are thrilled to share our experiences in this immersion trip to Panama! Please meet our amazing group.
Guided by the incredible team at Amigos de las Americas, we will devote more than a week to immersing ourselves in the vibrant culture and cherished traditions of the Panamanian communities we are privileged to visit. Amigos, an organization known for its dedication to cultural exchange and community engagement, will provide guidance and structure for our trip. Their expertise ensures that our time in Panama is not only enriching but also respectful of the communities we engage with. Through their support, we hope to fully embrace the language, traditions, and stories of the Panamanian people.
Immersion with Purpose This journey is about more than travel and visiting; it’s about connection. We’re looking forward to learning firsthand about the daily lives of our Panamanian hosts and companions. Through meaningful interactions and shared experiences, we aim to understand their perspectives, customs, and values. One of the highlights of our time there will be engaging with young children at a summer camp. This opportunity to serve, laugh, and learn alongside these vibrant young souls is one we cherish deeply.
A Journey of the Heart Our hearts and minds are open as we step into this. We ask for your prayers for safe travels and transformative experiences. Pray with us to see our neighbors with open hearts, to embrace the Spanish language with enthusiasm, and to build bridges of understanding and friendship.
This immersion trip is a chance to step out of our comfort zones, build lifelong memories, and deepen our understanding of the world. We look forward to sharing stories of our experiences, the lessons we learn, and the connections we make. Thank you for your support, and please keep us in your thoughts and prayers as we embark on this incredible journey.
