Andrew Simonson '88
Andrew Simonson '88 passed away on September 25, 2024.
"Andrew J. “Andy” Simonson, 54, died peacefully while in hospice care on September 25, 2024, in Greeley, Colorado. Andy was a proud Colorado native who was born on Easter Sunday, March 29, 1970, in a snowstorm in Boulder, Colorado to Wayne and Jeanette Simonson. Andy is survived by his children Kyle Simonson and Melissa Simonson, bonus daughter Lynnea West, and two grandchildren. He is also survived by his siblings Theresa (Bill) Hafner, his twin Mary Simonson, Thomas (Carlotta) Simonson, and Elizabeth (Jack) Fischer, his loving girlfriend Theresa Joseph-Casey, and numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Andy was predeceased by his parents and his brother, John. Andy was a hard-working, small business owner, although he preferred to be farming. He loved spending time outdoors and fishing, grilling and smoking all sorts of tasty foods were his hobbies. Andy was an active member of St. Mary Catholic Church, the Knights of Columbus, a graduate of Regis Jesuit High School, and an Eagle Scout. Andy was an organ donor and would be happy that he could continue to help others through this selfless gift after his death." Click here to view the full obituary.

A Rosary will be held on October 15, 2024, at 10:30 am at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, 2222 23rd Ave, Greeley. A Funeral Mass will follow at 11:00 am.
