Ted Schilling

Thomas Edward "Ted" Schilling, father of Analisa '07 and Elizabeth '11 and RJ Golf coach from 2008 until last spring, passed away on July 8, 2024.

"Ted was born in Kansas City, Missouri and grew up in Shawnee Mission as the youngest of five siblings (Jim, Don, Peggy, and Susan). As a result of many visits with his family to Crested Butte where he enjoyed skiing and being in the beautiful Rocky Mountains, he always wanted to live in Colorado. Ted earned a full-ride scholarship for track and field (discus and shotput) at Colorado State University, graduating with a degree in accounting. He was a proud CSU Ram and an active member of Sigma Nu Fraternity, two passions that continued throughout the rest of his life. Ted met the love of his life, Cathy, and was married for 37 years. They had two beautiful daughters, Analisa (Tracey) and Elizabeth (Ante). He was a wonderful husband, father, and grandfather (Gpa) to three spirited grandbaby boys ranging from 6 months old to 5 years old (Sawyer, Oliver, and Andrijano). With his warm, engaging personality, Ted was a very successful life insurance salesman until he retired. He also shared his love for the sport of golf as a coach at Regis Jesuit High School. Ted excelled at teaching the mental aspect of golf along with his wisdom and knowledge of the game." Read the full obituary.

Funeral services were held at Most Precious Blood Catholic Church this Friday, July 12 with visitation starting at 9:30 am and Mass at 10:30 am.

We join the prayers of the community of Regis Jesuit with yours for the repose of Ted's soul and the consolation of his family and all those who loved him. May he rest in peace.
