We are a Catholic, Jesuit, college preparatory high school serving more than 1700 young men and women in grades 9-12 in becoming Men and Women with and for Others.
With nearly 150 years of history behind us, we are a Roman Catholic educational community rooted firmly in the nearly 500-year-old model of Jesuit education, leading the way in preparing students for the 21st century.
Our unique educational model combines the advantages of single-sex instruction with opportunities for young men and women to collaborate, serve, pray and socialize together to form the whole person—mind, body and spirit.
The strength of Regis Jesuit is found in the depth and diversity of its broad community of students, parents and alumni who strengthen and share their gifts through a lifelong Raider experience.
The transformational student experience has been developed thanks to a long tradition of generous philanthropic support of our enduring educational mission.
Regis Jesuit Team 3729, The Raiders, took part in the FIRST Robotics Colorado Regional Competition on March 21-23 at the University of Denver. Fifty teams from across the United States and the world competed for the top spot and opportunity to advance to the FIRST Robotics World Championship taking place in mid-April in Houston, TX. Ahead of the competition, the RJ team hosted Team 6907, The G.O.A.T., from Shanghai, China as they needed a place to reassemble and test their robot before the competition began. It was wonderful to see the two teams working together and collaborating on a shared love of robotics.
Despite not advancing at Regionals, the students gained a greater understanding of their robot's strengths and weaknesses at the competition and immediately went to work redesigning the robot—prototyping, machining, re-wiring, programming and driving it.
The team heads to compete in the Oklahoma Regional on April 1 and Shawnee, Oklahoma on April 3-5. Their mentors feel incredibly impressed and proud as they witness their creativity and resilience in revamping their robot for upcoming competitions.
