We are a Catholic, Jesuit, college preparatory high school serving more than 1700 young men and women in grades 9-12 in becoming Men and Women with and for Others.
With nearly 150 years of history behind us, we are a Roman Catholic educational community rooted firmly in the nearly 500-year-old model of Jesuit education, leading the way in preparing students for the 21st century.
Our unique educational model combines the advantages of single-sex instruction with opportunities for young men and women to collaborate, serve, pray and socialize together to form the whole person—mind, body and spirit.
The strength of Regis Jesuit is found in the depth and diversity of its broad community of students, parents and alumni who strengthen and share their gifts through a lifelong Raider experience.
The transformational student experience has been developed thanks to a long tradition of generous philanthropic support of our enduring educational mission.
JAX HEIL ANNOUNCED AS HEAD GIRLS CROSS COUNTRY COACH
Regis Jesuit High School is excited to announce the hiring of Jax Heil as the new Head Coach of the Girls Cross Country program. Heil brings a wealth of coaching experience, a passion for student-athlete development, and a strong commitment to the holistic growth of young leaders.
With an extensive background in endurance athletics, Heil has coached athletes at a variety of levels, from beginners to state champions and NCAA All-Americans. He has helped guide high school runners to compete at top collegiate programs, including Syracuse University and Michigan State University. Coach Heil has also coached at the NCAA Division I level with the University of Denver’s women’s triathlon team, contributing to record-setting performances, national titles, and multiple All-American honors.
Beyond competitive success, Heil is known for building strong, positive relationships with their athletes, and fostering an environment where student-athletes grow not only as runners but as individuals. His coaching philosophy prioritizes long-term development, mental resilience, and personal empowerment—values that align closely with the mission of Regis Jesuit.
“I am thrilled to be joining the Regis Jesuit community, a school that prioritizes personal, academic, spiritual, and athletic growth,” said Heil. “Coaching is about so much more than just results—it's about building confidence, character, and a love for the sport. I look forward to empowering these student-athletes to reach their full potential on and off the course.”
In addition to their athletic expertise, Heil’s background in social work and faith-based research further strengthens their ability to connect with and support student-athletes. His deep faith and commitment to servant leadership drive his coaching approach, helping athletes grow intellectually, emotionally, and spiritually.
Regis Jesuit High School is confident that Heil’s leadership will bring energy and excellence to the Girls Cross Country program. Please join us in welcoming Coach Heil to the Raider family!
