HOCKEY'S ANNUAL TEDDY BEAR TOSS BRINGS JOY AND HOLIDAY CHEER TO PATIENTS AT CHILDREN'S HOSPITAL

This past weekend, the Varsity Hockey Team not only secured a 5-0 win but also hosted another hugely successful Teddy Bear Toss during their game against Ralston Valley on December 13 at Family Sports Center. This annual tradition of fans tossing new stuffed animals on the ice following the team's first goal is a fan favorite and one cherished by those battling illness at Children's Hospital during the Christmas season. The program is extremely grateful for the outpouring of support from friends, family, alumni and fans as they collected the most stuffies in the program's 11 years of hosting the toss!
Members of the team then experienced more joy a few days later as they delivered the stuffed animals and helped the young patients choose their favorite one to enjoy this Christmas. Many smiles and much laughter were shared as players and patients spent quality time enjoying holiday crafts together.

Way to be with and for Others and spread joy in our community!
