STUDENTS COMPETE AT 2024 FBLA NATIONAL LEADERSHIP CONFERENCE

A team of six members of the Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) Club competed at this year's 2024 FBLA National Leadership Conference held in Orlando, FL from June 29-July 2. Top performers convene at this annual international conference to compete in business and technology events, enhance their leadership skills and attend workshops to grow their financial literacy. All six students performed incredibly well, each achieving scores in the top 20% or higher out of the more than 16,000 attendees, including competitors from Canada and China. A special shoutout to Matthew Layden ’25 and Ian Liu ’25 who took home an impressive third-place finish in the Financial Statements Analysis category.
The duo of Kaeden Ellmann '25 and David Fales '24 also performed well in the Website Coding & Programming category, scoring an incredible 196 points out of 200 and ranking in the top 1% in the nation. Ranking in the top 10% and 20% respectively, Ryan Hong '27 represented Regis Jesuit in the Introduction to Business Concepts category and Michael Loiseau '25 competed in Personal Finance.

In addition, the 2023-24 RJ FBLA Student Leadership Team was also awarded the Silver Champion Chapter Award for their strong effort and dedication throughout the school year.

The group not only cherished their successes at the conference but also made some time for fun, enjoying exclusive hours at Universal Studios.

This club continues to grow in popularity at the school. During the 2023-24 school year, approximately 120 students participated, with 58 advancing to compete at the State competition and 11 qualifying to compete at the National Conference.

You make us proud, Raiders!
