BASEBALL FINISHES SEASON AS STATE RUNNERS-UP

Head Coach Matt Darr and the No. 2 Varsity Baseball Team had another spectacular season going 22-8 on the 2023-24 season and finishing as 5A State Runners-Up! The Raiders were undefeated early in the playoffs series, including a 3-0 win over No. 5 Cherry Creek, which earned them a bid to the 5A State Championship games at All Star Park on June 1. The Bruins fought their way back in the Consolation Round to defeat the Raiders 11-1 and 5-2 in back-to-back Final rounds to claim the State title. We are so proud of you, Raiders, and look forward to another great season next year!

As a special highlight to Saturday's Championship festivities at All Star Park in Lakewood, two brothers and patients of Children's Hospital Colorado were invited to join the Regis Jesuit and Cherry Creek catchers on the field to throw out the first pitch at the Championship game. This was a fun and rewarding opportunity for our players to show care and support to the boys who each suffer from the same cardiac diagnosis. Each year, Children's Hospital and CHSAA partner to enable a child to be an honorary guest on the field and throw out the first pitch of the State Championship baseball game.
