RJHS AWARDED POLAR PLUNGE "COOLEST SCHOOL" FOR FOURTH CONSECUTIVE YEAR

For the fourth consecutive year, Regis Jesuit was awarded the "Coolest School" by Special Olympics Colorado for being the highest fundraising school for the annual Polar Plunge, raising more than $17,000. Despite the cold and 40-mile-per-hour winds, 88 RJ students braved the frigid waters of the Aurora Reservoir on Saturday, April 6 in support of Special Olympics athletes and its programming.
The funds raised for this event will help purchase much-needed equipment and uniforms for the athletes, fund community events and much more!

We are grateful to all who participated in and donated to this spectacular and fun event. A special note thanks to club moderator Ms. Angela Hernandez for her incredible work on organizing the event as well as a special note of gratitude to our top fundraisers: Julia Lopez ’26, Marisol Shukie ’25, Nika Slaggart ’27, Jessica Webster ’26 and Ayla Zuick ’26.

Way to go, Raiders!
