Drake Powell
Drake Powell co-founded Echelon Property Group, a Denver-based multifamily investment and management firm that manages over 15,000 units in Colorado. In 2021, Drake sold his interest to Asset Living, where he now serves as a principal. He is a 1991 graduate of Colorado College with a degree in international political economy. Drake is a past president and Hall of Fame member of the Apartment Association of Metro Denver. He is a licensed Colorado real estate broker with more than 30 years of experience in multifamily ownership, management and redevelopment. Son of a 1958 alumnus, he and his wife Caren are the proud parents of two Raider alums—Davis ’17 and Chalmers ’21—and were actively involved as parent volunteers during their sons’ time at RJ. Drake has served on the Planning & Major Projects Committee since 2017 and joined the Board of Trustees in June 2024.
