Boys Division Physical Education Department

Regis Jesuit High School Boys Division Physical Education Department is based on a hallmark of Jesuit education - cura personalis, the care and concern for the individual. Teachers work to develop the student's knowledge and encourage the implementation of a healthy lifestyle. The department provides an opportunity for each student to take part in a wide scope of activities both on the field and in the classroom. Students are exposed to the physical skills, strategies, and rules for the different activity classes. The department works to helps the student reach and maintain an acceptable level of fitness. The health course is designed to provide the students with opportunities to explore health-related problems confronting today's students. This will enable them to make effective decisions concerning their own health and that of their family, peers, school, and community. All students must complete one unit of physical education. (.5 unit of health and .5 unit of physical education elective)
