School Advisory Council

Established during the 2011-12 school year, the School Advisory Council is a group of parents selected by the President and Principals to serve in an advisory capacity to them on matters concerning the school. The Council does not have any decision-making authority, but their role in advising the President and Principals is important in informing the decisions they make.

Parents interested in being a part of the School Advisory Council are encouraged to read the By-laws and Code of Ethics (linked to below) governing it to find out full details of how the group functions. All prospective members must submit an application to be considered for the Council. Members are chosen so that both Divisions are equally represented on the Council. The application process generally takes place over the summer with the details of the process being communicated to parents via the Red & White parent email newsletter.

School Advisory Meeting Schedule

Meetings are generally held monthly from September until May in the Houlihan Conference Room in the Girls Division. The meeting schedule for 2017-18 will be determined in August.
