We are a Catholic, Jesuit, college preparatory high school serving more than 1700 young men and women in grades 9-12 in becoming Men and Women with and for Others.
With nearly 150 years of history behind us, we are a Roman Catholic educational community rooted firmly in the nearly 500-year-old model of Jesuit education, leading the way in preparing students for the 21st century.
Our unique educational model combines the advantages of single-sex instruction with opportunities for young men and women to collaborate, serve, pray and socialize together to form the whole person—mind, body and spirit.
The strength of Regis Jesuit is found in the depth and diversity of its broad community of students, parents and alumni who strengthen and share their gifts through a lifelong Raider experience.
The transformational student experience has been developed thanks to a long tradition of generous philanthropic support of our enduring educational mission.
STAINED GLASS INSTALLATION IN THE OUR LADY OF THE WAY CHAPEL
Regis Jesuit received a truly wonderful Christmas present when the first of the two stained glass windows for the Our Lady of the Way Chapel in the Science & Innovation Center was installed just prior to Christmas Break.
The IHS window measures nearly 15'x15' and now sits above the entrance to the SIC, clearly signaling to our community and visitors our identity as a Catholic Jesuit school. We anticipate the arrival of the 8'x8' Madonna della Strada, which translates to Our Lady of the Way, window later this semester. It will be installed at the back of the chapel and visible from the adjoining staircase as well.
Both windows were designed by award-winning artist Scott Parsons and fabricated in Germany by Derix Glasstudios. From the original design concepts, we knew we would be getting something truly special that would both convey our mission and create an inviting space for prayerful contemplation in our newest building.
These much-anticipated windows were part of the architects’ design for the SIC and made possible by the generosity of donors who desired to help complete this sacred space in the building project.
We still need our community’s support to help us complete this sacred space! Gifts of $5000 provide a naming opportunity on a chapel chair. Gifts of $10,000 or more secure a naming opportunity on a shared plaque in the chapel. Certain gift levels may be pledged up to five years.
