During our group reflection, we talked about some of the different things we experienced in our assigned classrooms and how it could be hard to watch sometimes. This varied from language used to arguments at times. Somethings discussed, we all had in common, however, I was sitting in the classroom and figuring out how to respond to different situations while understanding that we shouldn’t make any attempts to “fix” these kids. Rather, we talked about how we each approached the task of assisting and/or encouraging different students and hopefully learned a little more about how we could improve individually. Everyone seemed to come to the conclusion that overall, while tiring, the day was overall eventful and fun, even when there were some tough moments.
