DENVER IMMERSION DAY 1 PART 2

We broke bread together, had some reflection time and bonded over a movie to get ready for our first day.
As we sat in a circle and shared out what we wanted to get out of this retreat, one of the girl’s answers really moved me. She said that being on this immersion and helping with these kids is a privilege, never a burden. That made me think about just how lucky me and the girls around are to be entrusted with these sweet beautiful souls, and how much of a blessing it is to be invited to be apart of something so impactful.
