DENVER IMMERSION DAY 1 PART 1

Alice Lynett
Settling into our lodging with the Colorado Vincentian Volunteers and preparing for our first day tomorrow.
During today’s reflection we discussed how we will need God during this experience, what we’re bringing to this experience, and what we’re excited about going into immersion. The first thing I thought about when thinking about what I need during this time, is support. I want to take this opportunity to lean on God when things feel difficult. When I am in the classroom, I hope that I can turn to God and ask for help channeling His love into my actions and how I view this experience. I trust that God will provide me with tools that will benefit myself and the people we have been called to serve. I personally will bring an open mind and open heart to every aspect of this immersion. I am excited to grow with my classmates and the kids we will meet!
