Sofia Close, cousin of Sarah ‘12 and Whitman ‘19 Hamilton, passed away on September 23, 2024.
"She was an avid world traveler whose ability to connect with others reflected her deep compassion and her commitment to lifelong growth. Her adventurous spirit and insatiable curiosity inspired others to view the world through a lens of wonder and possibility. Sofia's warmth, empathy, and unyielding support for those she loved will live on in the hearts of her close family and friends. She gave Sarah and Whitman the gift of a lifelong interest in learning by supporting them in receiving a Jesuit education. May she rest in peace."
