KEN SHAW EARNS NATIONAL COACH OF THE YEAR AWARD

The National High School Basketball Coaches Association has honored Head Coach Ken Shaw with the 2021 John Wooden Legacy Award for boys basketball in the state of Colorado. In its inaugural year, this award is bestowed upon outstanding high school basketball coaches and educators who have achieved excellence on the court, in the classroom and in their local communities.
Coach Shaw has been coaching basketball for nearly 48 years, 15 at Regis Jesuit, and has 788 career wins and five State Titles. It is no surprise to his students, players and fellow faculty and staff members that he has been recognized and selected for this distinct honor. Coach Shaw fully exemplifies the five traits that embody the legacy and character of Coach Jim Wooden: Education, Longevity, Character, Service and Excellence. Congratulations Coach Shaw on this amazing honor and for your long-standing commitment to our school community. We applaud you and celebrate this honor with you!
