  • Help us make our New Year merry and bright!

We are grateful for your support—make a gift to support Regis Jesuit before December 31 to take advantage of tax savings for this year!

Regis Jesuit High School will be closed for the holidays from December 23 through January 1. Our offices will reopen on Thursday, January 2. All gifts postmarked by December 31 or submitted online by midnight on December 31 will be credited to the 2024 calendar year for tax purposes. If you have any questions or would like to speak to someone about your gift, please contact Mindae Russell, Vice President of Advancement at mrussell@regisjesuit.com or 303.269.8094.
A strong endowment gives Regis Jesuit the confidence to plan and make strategic decisions that will ensure our school remains accessible and affordable for every student.

Ways to Give

List of 7 items.

  • Gifts of Cash/Check/Online Donations

Please consider making your gift using your credit card or direct debit through our secure website, via stock or wire transfer or a donor-advised fund.

Checks can be made out to “Regis Jesuit High School” and mailed to:
    Regis Jesuit High School
    Attn: Advancement Office
    6400 South Lewiston Way
    Aurora, CO 80016
  • Gifts of In-Kind Donations

Gifts-in-kind are generally defined as non-cash donations of equipment or supplies that have been purchased by the donor and given to the school to meet a specific purpose or need such as gift cards, books, equipment, software, licenses, food, supplies and furnishings.
  • Gifts of Stocks/Securities

Using publicly traded stock to make a gift to Regis Jesuit can be a tax-wise method of giving, especially if the stock has appreciated in value since you acquired it. Giving appreciated stock saves you tax dollars in two ways:
    • First, you will receive an income-tax deduction for the current value of the stock. This value is the average of the high and low trading price on the transfer date.
    • Second, you avoid paying the tax on the capital gain of the stock. So that we can be sure to accurately match the donation to you, please alert an Advancement team member that you have made a gift of stock.

  • Gifts from an IRA Distribution

Donors who are at least 70½ years of age or older may transfer up to $105,000 from an IRA directly to a qualifying charity such as Regis Jesuit High School. For donors aged 73 years or older, you can satisfy your annual Required Minimum Distribution (RMD) with a gift to Regis Jesuit and exclude these funds from your taxable income.
  • Gifts from a Donor-Advised Fund

A donor-advised fund, which is like a charitable savings account, gives you the flexibility to recommend how much and how often money is granted to Regis Jesuit High School and other charities. You transfer cash or other assets to a tax-exempt sponsoring organization such as a public foundation. You can then recommend-but not direct-how much and how often money is granted. In return, you qualify for a federal income tax charitable deduction at the time you contribute to the account.
  • Gifts from an Employer Match

Many employers sponsor matching gift programs and will match any charitable contributions made by their employees. If your company is eligible, request a matching gift form from your employer, and send it completed and signed with your gift. We will do the rest! The impact of your gift may be doubled or possibly tripled! Some companies match gifts made by retirees and/or spouses.
  • Gifts from Legacy Planning

When you include Regis Jesuit in your will or estate plan, you become a member of the St. John Francis Regis Legacy Society, which recognizes your important contribution and demonstrates your commitment to the mission of Regis Jesuit.
